This is an all inclusive luxury retreat, including ensuite room, all meals prepared by our private chef, in-country transfers, local hiking and daily yoga, a Swedish massage, a contribution to the home-painting project, and all service gratuities.

International flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses. Additional activities or add-on travel days can be coordinated and priced separately, if interested.

We depart from Guatemala City in the early afternoon on arrival day. It is a 3 hour drive to Lake Atitlán.

The six nights at a private lakeside residence include chef-prepared meals, time to relax by the pool, private boat days on the lake, nearby hikes, and daily gentle yoga.

One day is dedicated to Santa Catarina Palopó, where we work alongside the Pintando project to paint a local family’s home.

We return to Guatemala City in the morning of departure day.

If you are unable to arrive by early afternoon on arrival day, we recommend arriving the day before. We’re happy to help coordinate this for you, with pricing available upon request.

Every Kind Retreat gives back to the place that hosts us. For the retreat at Lake Atitlán, we dedicate one full day to Santa Catarina Palopó - a community project that uses art as a tool for development, painting the town’s homes in patterns drawn from the huipiles its women have woven for generations. We’ll spend time in the town, learn the project’s story from the people behind it, and pick up brushes ourselves to paint a local family’s home alongside them. The cost of transforming that home is built into your trip.
